Valdezorita Photovoltaic Park Inauguration
On April 2, 2025, we attended the inauguration of the Valdezorita Photovoltaic Park in Yebra (Guadalajara), with a total peak power of 50 MW and an annual production of approximately 100 GWh, promoted by ABO ENERGY.
This park has 86,562 modules equipped with solar tracking technology and three 30 kV medium voltage circuits, connected to the “SET Yebra” 30/66 kV substation. It also includes a 4 km 66 kV line linking this substation with the José Cabrera PV Colectora José Cabrera substation, and subsequently with the José Cabrera 220 kV substation.
Elecnor has played a key role in this project, carrying out the design, construction, electromechanical assembly and commissioning of the “SET Yebra” 30/66 kV substation, which includes two 50 MVAS transformers, a building supplied by Adhorna with several rooms and a 66 kV evacuation line.
The substation and the 66 kV line will serve both the Valdezorita Photovoltaic Park and the Canes-I Photovoltaic Park, promoted by Grenergy.
The ceremony was attended by prominent personalities, including Mª Mercedes Gómez Rodríguez, Minister of Sustainable Development of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, as well as mayors of the municipalities where the facility is located.
We would like to congratulate our colleagues Jacinto Román, Aldara Bilbao, Pablo Fernández, Josué Anchuelo, Jaime Robles, Rubén Sequera, Iván Ruiz and Oscar Calonge, who from the Madrid Distribution Office have made this event possible.
